Family members, friends, and the Audubon, New Jersey community are mourning the sudden passing of Scott Warren, who died on May 2, 2026, at the age of 63. His loss has left a deep void in the hearts of those who knew and loved him, as they remember a man defined by his dedication to family, community, and lasting friendships.
Scott Warren was the beloved husband of 40 years to Kathy Warren (née Bruno), and a loving father to Emily Warren, Abby (Keith) Tappert, Madeline Warren, and Bailey Warren. He was also a proud and devoted “Pop-Pop” to his grandson, Lincoln, who brought him immense joy. Scott is survived by his mother, Mary Ellen Warren (née Myrtetus), his sister Nancy (Jamie) O’Neill, and his brother Patrick (Laura) Warren, along with many nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends. He was predeceased by his father, Robert L. Warren.
A 1980 graduate of Collingswood High School, Scott spent much of his life rooted in Audubon, where he became a well-known and respected member of the community. He dedicated his time to coaching his daughters in softball, creating lasting memories both on and off the field. His commitment to public service was also evident through his role as a Commissioner of the Borough of Audubon, where he worked to support and strengthen the community he loved.
At home, Scott was known for his welcoming spirit. His garage door was often open, symbolizing the open-door policy he extended to friends and family alike. Whether sharing stories, laughter, or simply enjoying each other’s company, Scott created a space where everyone felt at home.
He also had a deep appreciation for life’s simple pleasures, including golfing, fishing, and spending quality time with loved ones. In addition to his life in Audubon, Scott cherished time spent in North Wildwood, particularly on 11th Street, where countless treasured memories were made with family and friends.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewing on Thursday, May 14, 2026, from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Foster-Warne Funeral Home in Audubon, with a remembrance service to follow at 1:00 PM. Interment will be private.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to support his grandson Lincoln and future grandchildren’s college education.
