It is with heartfelt sorrow that we announce the peaceful passing of Cassandra Roberts of Ottawa, Canada, on Friday, May 8, 2026, at the age of 35.
Cassandra was a beloved and cherished daughter to Linda and Jeffrey Roberts, whose lives were forever brightened by her presence. She was a devoted sister to Corey (Kaity) and Caitlyn (Mitchell), sharing with them a bond rooted in love, laughter, and unwavering support. As an aunt, Cassandra held a special place in the hearts of her nieces and nephews—Cooper, Wally, Finnley, Josephine, and Isobel—each of whom brought her immense pride and joy.
She will be deeply missed by her grandmother, Rose, as well as her extended family of aunts, uncles, and cousins, and a wide circle of friends who knew her kindness and gentle spirit. Cassandra had a quiet warmth about her that made others feel at ease, and her presence brought comfort to those around her. She also shared a special companionship with her beloved cats, Rosie and Doris, who were a constant source of joy in her life.
Those who knew Cassandra will remember her for her compassion, her thoughtful nature, and the genuine care she showed to others. She lived her life with grace and sincerity, leaving behind memories that will be treasured always.
Family and friends are invited to gather in remembrance and to celebrate Cassandra’s life at the Daley Family Funeral Home, 6971 Bank Street, where visitation will take place on Wednesday, May 13, from 2:00–4:00 p.m. and 6:00–8:00 p.m. A funeral service will be held in the chapel on Thursday, May 14, at 11:00 a.m.
